Description

Silver and glass enclosing a piece of butterfly wing. Oval with closed back and beaded edge (two round, one oval repeated), set with iridescent blue butterfly wing under a domed glass. Hinged pin and curled hook fastening, also silver.

Notes

History note: Given to the donor in the early 1920s by a cousin, Edmund Cameron, whose father became Master of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.
