Both 'Burning Bush I' and 'Burning Bush II' were completed before the USA-led invasion of Iraq in 2003. My perception was that George W Bush saw himself as a latter-day Moses with a mission to lead the USA to save the world, repeating the same certainties which guided the British Empire in the 19th century, when we thought that the 'New Jerusalem' was in England
