Whole length, standing, dressed as a Roman general, pointing with a baton to the left, behind him is a tent, and a soldier carrying a plumed helmet; beyond to the left is landscape with soldiers in trenches. Lettering in margin: "Petrus Simon Eques Sculpsit 1694 Cum Privilegio Regis' and title in larger lettering 'Ludovicus Magnus'
