Stainless steel. The circular body slopes upwards from the base and then vertically until it meets the sloping shoulder. It has a short upward-tilting curved spout, a triangular ribbon handle which rises above the body to the same level as the shallow funnel-shaped knob on the conical cover.
History note: Purchased new in Oxford about 1970 by the donor
