Stainless steel of 18/8 gauge. Circular body sloping outwards from the base and then vertically to meet the sloping shoulder. It has an upward-tilting slightly curved spout and a triangular ribbon handle which rises above the body. The shallow circular cover has a shallow funnel-shaped knob.
History note: Purchased new by the donor in Oxford about 1970
