Note

Vessels of this type which have a dark body, are brushed (kwiyal) with white slip on the upper part and freely painted in dark iron pigment, were made for daily use at Hakpong-ri, Kongju-gun in South Ch'ungch'ong province. Vessels from Hakpong-ri were usually fired in stacks, separated by coarse sandy supports.
