Earthenware covered in a turquoise glaze

Earthenware, mould made, covered in a cracked and pitted turquoise glaze
Shape: cross-shaped tile with pointed ends, bevelled edges
Upper surface: covered in a turquoise glaze, runs over the edges
Underside: undecorated, remains of plaster visible

History note: H.S. Reitlinger (d.1950); the Reitlinger Trust, Maidenhead, from which transferred in 1991.
