Fritware painted in three colours under a colourless glaze
Fritware, mould made, painted in blue, black and turquoise under a colourless glaze
Shape: roughly square, with slightly bevelled edges
Upper surface: all outlined in black, a rosette, partial palmette and saz leaf are coloured with black and turquoise and reserved on a blue background.
Lower surface: undecorated, partially covered with plaster.
History note: Purchased from the ‘Mosque of Omar’ (also known as the Dome of the Rock) at Jerusalem on 15th March, 1904
