Description

Hybrid hard-paste porcelain painted in blue, green, pink, and iron-red enamels with flowers and fern . Pattern, no. 442.

Hybrid hard-paste porcelain, glazed, and painted overglaze in blue, green, iron-red, appricot, and puce enamels. The bowl has deep curved sides and stands on a footring. The circular saucer (A) has curved sides and a footring. The cup is decorated inside with a puce flower on a stem with leaves. Round the upper part there are four arrangements of stylized polychrome flowers and leaves with dotted puce fern fronds on each side, and four blue sprigs between them. A red line runs round the rim. On the outside there are two blue and two puce floral sprigs with detached leaves between them. The saucer has a central puce floral spray surrounded by four blue sprigs, and on the sides, six polychrome arrangements, and a red line round the rim. Pattern 442
