The kabuki actor Segawa Kikunojô V
Designer: Kuniyasu, Utagawa
Surimono. Colour prints from woodblocks, with blind embossing (karazuri), and white pigment spattered by hand for the snow. Shikishi-ban diptych, right-hand sheet (mounted with P.525-1937, the left-hand sheet). Signed: Kuniyasu ga. Printer’s seal: Suri-kô Shinzô. Poets: Kôutei (?) Hanamitsu, Suihôtei Komatsu, Kamenoya Osemaru and Hisakataya Misora. 1826.
