Steatite scarab
Steatite scarab with traces of glaze and resin on the surface. The base of the scarab is decorated with a rearing cobra wearing the crown of Lower (?) Egypt and there is a title to the left consisting of the nb basket (Lord) and a wadjet eye, perhaps meaning divine in this context. The scarab is pierced lengthways through the centre.
