Anglo-Saxon (Ascribed culture)
A broken copper-alloy strap-end. A zoomorphic terminal; broken at the attachment end. There is a rivet hole at half its length Decoration is uncertain. It appears to have been scratched since its discovery, removing much of its oxide patination. Thomas class B.
