Silversmith: Leeke, Ralph (Possibly)
The slightly tapered body plain and straight-sided, with a moulded foot rim. The simple scroll handle with a twin ball thumb piece; the hinged slightly domed cover with a simple peak, and double lobed thumb-piece.
Engraved on base with "The Gift of Mrs Mary Pyke unto William & Ann Smirk April the 28 1708 * in a circle. Also engraved "This is for Salenato (? illegible)", and initials "S" above "*W * A*".
Maker's mark only struck four times each on body and cover.
