Fritware, painted in black and incised under a turquoise glaze.
Fritware, wheel thrown, painted in black and incised under a turquoise glaze
Shape: conical bowl, sits on a low foot ring.
Interior: on the rim a black line is painted, while on the upper body a black band is incised with pseudo-script. On the lower body a wide frieze of black scallops, painted in alternating directions is framed above and below by thin concentric lines.
Exterior: undecorated except for the glaze, this covers the upper third of the body and terminates in droplets or thickened deposits. A few droplets of glaze are present on the lower body and base.
