Beige silk ground (with silk embroidery/brocade?). Satin stitch in shades of blue, green, red, orange, yellow, brown and cream. Stylised pattern of chrysanthemums.
? Kara-ori (literally Chinese weaving). Japanese silk in this style with loose threads resembling embroidery or possibly
Atsuita - pattern threads tied down rather than floated.
