Method of acquisition: Bequeathed (1816) by Fitzwilliam, Richard, 7th Viscount
Later filled with a figure representing Spring from a series of the Four Seasons, and additional flowers added at top. See the print 30.I.17-490. Della Bella is considered historically to be responsible for the figures only; the ornamental borders are attributed to Bosse.
