Cotton, dyed red; polychrome silk embroidery in open chain, buttonhole and possibly laid and couched work. Six joined pieces; embroidery worked over the joins; evenly spaced stylised star motifs in alternating rows within a narrow border of stylised flower and stem repeat pattern.
