Silk embroidered in gold and silver threads and beads


History note: Taken from the palace in Delhi of the Moghul Emperor Bahadur Shah II (1775-1862) after the siege of 1857. The banner came into the possession of the Prize Agent, Colonel Tytler, whose widow presented it to Colonel Graham Birch, one of General Havelock's staff.
