Red twill weave wool, embroidered with polychrome wools in a mixture of straight, stem and satin stitch with some laid and couched work. Three borders; a central medallion within a rectangle; 'boteh' motifs. Edges bound with a woven, diagonally striped textile. Modern dark grey backing.
