Description

Brocade, cream and pink stripes, with a spray of carnation and smaller flowers on the cream. Long pocket slits, on the underside are eyes with tapes running through them to draw the skirt into a Polonaise. Probably Spitalfields silk of mid 18th century but construction of robe later.
