Cream linen, the upper part padded and lined with cream linen, the fronts and skirt lined with cream silk. The edges are bound with silk ribbon. Embroidered, with the exception of the upper part of the back, in puce, green, brown and cream silk threads in satin and chain stitches with chinoiserie and animal motifs against a backgound sewn with slender leaves. The bodice has narrow shoulders and a wide neckline, lower at the front than at the back. The fronts curve in at the waist and are rounded at the lower edge. There are a back and side vents. The bodice fastens down the front by means of eight pairs of eyelet holes and a dark yellow silk cord.
