  • Text: Le Lieutenant Bruno GARIBALDI vient de se faire tuer héroïquement à la / tête des volontaires galibaldiens, pendant l'assaut d'une tranchée allemande. Il / était âgé de 26 ans (26 Décembre 1914). / Le Président de la République, dans un télégramme émouvant a exprimé / au chef actuel de la famille GARIBALDI la part que la France entière prenait à / son deuil, et a reçu de lui cette admirable réponsE: "Un de mes enfants tombé / eh bien! Il en reste cinq, et après il y a encore le vieux chef de la 4e brigade / et avec lui le coeur toute d'Italie".
