Linen, embroidered with silk and gold thread in double darning, double running and satin stitches. Each border consists of three widths, within each two repeats of the pattern, a large and elaborate floral spray with rose and tulips. One only in each width has the characteristic hooked stem though they are both derived from the rose spray.
