Cotton, fine loosely woven, embroidered with polychrome silks in double back , double running and satin stitches. Two joined pieces with a 1.5" border of a stem with leaves around the edges. In the centre of the cover similar leaves form the border of a 16" circular motif containing a spray with a rose in the centre and three others with leaves alternating around it. Remainder of the field covered by large symmetrical rose sprays placed in each corner.
