Linen embroidered with silver and gilt thread in double running, hem and satin stitches. A 0.5" zig-zag stem and leaf border. The square pattern is built up from four small square geometrical, symmetrical sprays of stems and leaves, the main stem being diagonal. One unit is in each corner, four on the warp and five on the weft sides.
