Description

Silk Lampas; joined fragments; red warp-faced twill ground with pattern formed by silk weft threads of light green, light blue and ivory with fragments of the black originally used to outline the areas of gilt metal thread, now largely worn down to its silk core. Ogival lattice enclosing staggered repeats of a pomegranate motif.
