Cotton, crepe weave, sprinkled with geometric devices and embroidered with polychrome silk and gilt thread and silver plate in double darning, double running, fishbone, and satin stitches, and figure of eight stitch for silver plate. At each end a 0.5" deep band of double darning blocks of gilt thread alternating with blocks of colour, and above it three repeats of a complex floral spray.
