Description

Cotton, with horizontal stripes produced by supplementary wefts, embroidered with polychrome silk and gilt thread, in double darning, double running and fishbone stitches. At each end a 0.5" deep band of four red and five gilt alternate toothed blocks. Above it three repeats of a shallow bowl with a foot, and in it a pyramid of figs. Fringes ravelled and twisted.
