Cotton, crepe weave, with horizontal stripes and vertical stripes at selvidges in silk, embroidered with polychrome silk, gilt and silver thread, in double darning, double running, hemstitch, needle weaving and satin stitches. At each end a 0.25" deep band in metal thread needle weaving, and above it two 8" deep asymmetric sprays of carnations springing from a hooked hem. Remnants of green silk fringe.
