Description

Cotton, loosely woven, embroidered with polychrome silk and gilt thread, in double darning, double running, an insertion stitch, and satin stitches. At the lower edge of each piece a 1" deep border of a waved stem and leaves, and above it a 2.5" deep band of a pattern formed by four repeats of a spray of stylised flowers, fruit and leaves.
