Coin Cabinet
Gilded wood, and coloured and gilded 'on-laid' leather, with silver carrying handles, pull-down fronts and fold out leather tray list, lined with pink silk, for twelve interior trays with leather fronts and gilt-copper drawer pulls; Draper arms applied to the pediments. One of a non matching pair
History note: Given by A. A. Vansittart, Trinity College, Cambridge, 1864. Previously owned by William Draper II, and were part of his estate when sold 3rd April 1760. The cabinet may have even been commissioned by him.
