An almost hemispherical bowl on a low thick foot-rim of grey earthenware with a bowl shaped lid with a small circular knop which could serve for a foot. Impressed with a pattern of radial strokes and small circles with a centre dot, with traces of grey-black glaze.


History note: Originating from the joint collections of Professor Peter H. Plesch and Mrs. Gerta R. (Traudi) Plesch OBE.
