Circular bloodstone seal, engraved with a double headed eagle above the initials 'R. M.' in monogram. Brass handle in the shape of a standing figure of Garibaldi. Elongated oval case of faded red leather, the cover stamped 'R. M.'; interior lined with velvet and satin.
Inside the lid, the vendor's name and address printed in the blue 'Jenner and Knewstub, 33 St James Street.'
