Description

Ivory figure of a scholar reclining against a fascicle of books. Touched with red and black.
This figure may represent Li Bai (701-762 AD), one of China's greatest poets, a bohemian character addicted to wine. Or Zhang Zhihe, an 8th century wine addict and cosmologist.
