Note

Laid on card with the edges folded over the back, with blackened margins, in a contemporary presentation for a 'Vue d'Optique' device. The composition has been drastically altered, with additional section glued to the bottom of the scene to create a foreground with dancing and seated figures and sheep from other prints. French title in reserve only just visible through extensive overpainting.
