Note

Title plate to Baron Samuel von Pufendorf's biography of Karl X Gustav of Sweden, 'De rebus a Carolo Gustavo Sueciae rege gestis commentariorum libri septem' Nuremberg, 1696). Boulanger engraved another plate for the book, a portrait of Karl XI, in 1668. Plate quite worn, possibly from the French edition?
