Lacquer inro. There are five divisions fitted in to an outer case, with a black ground. Aogai shell inlay, with a ho ho bird and bamboo.
On the reverse, there is a peacock and peony.
The outer case is decorated with a diaper pattern of aogai shell inlay on a black lacquer ground. Large window front and reverse.
