Description

Folding fan with an incorrect copy of the The Marlborough Gem cameo, which depicts the wedding of Cupid and Psyche. In this version. the couple are standing to the right with a basket of fruit above them. The left reserve shows a chariot drawn by cocks (lust), while the right is drawn by dolphins (love).
Paper leaf with hand coloured etching on wooden sticks.

M.372-2015 is the correct version.
