Piracy of the 'Oracle'
Maker: Unknown
Folding fan piracy of J. & W. Cock's 'Oracle'. The main difference is in the recto, where two different figures hold the title and one reads from the 'Book of Fate'. The borders of the questions and answers are more elaborate, either garlanded with flowers, or ropes of leaves.
Paper leaf with hand coloured etching and engraving, on plain wooden sticks and guards.
