Description

Paper leaf hand painted in the style of Stothard or Corbauld, on pierced and fretted ivory sticks and guards. A young girl kneels before her father? with her arms around his neck, head turned to the right towards a young man dressed in armour and holding a spear. To the left is a fourth figure of a middle-aged courtier.
