Soft-paste porcelain bowl, transfer-printed underglaze in blue with flowers
Soft-paste porcelain (steatitic) thrown, transfer-printed underglaze in blue. The bowl has deep curved sides and stands on a footring of triangular section. The exterior is decorated on one side with a floral arrangement known as ' The Three Flowers'. To the right of it there are two small floral sprays, and to the left, a butterfly and a spray of fern. Between them is a spray of leaves with two flowers, and a smaller butterfly to the left of it. Inside there is a central floral spray, and two horizontal bands below the rim.
