Description

White salt-glazed stoneware dish in the shape of a leaf

White stoneware, press-moulded in the shape of a veined vine leaf overlaid by a spray of honeysuckle, with a bent twig handle, and three applied fluted flower-shaped feet.

Notes

History note: Sir Ivor and Lady Batchelor, St Andrew’s, Fife; Sir Ivor died on 24 April 2005; on loan since 2006; Lady Batchelor, died in 2014.
