Two cuttings with the portrait of Dr Samuel Johnson, one by E Williams after Joshua Reynolds, and the other one after Joseph Nollekens. One cutting with the portrait of Geoffrey Chaucer, illustration to the "London Magazine", 1753. One cutting with the portrait of Dr William Harvey, with the inscription "Harvey Discoverer of the circulation of the blood". One cutting with the portrait of Francis Bacon, Viscount St Albans, with the inscription "Advancement of learning". Two cuttings with the portrait of John Ray, both with the same inscription "Wisdom of God in creation".
