Green, Engraver to his Majesty fecit." and "From the Original by Vansomer in the Possesion of the Earl of Dartmouth." and "Published Octr. 2d. 1775 by John Boydell Engraver in Cheapside London." and "Sir Charles Blount Baron Mountjoy, Knight of the Garter, Lord Deputy of Ireland, one of the Favourites of Queen Elizabeth, and by King James created Earl of Devonshire. He was one of the commanders against the Spanish Armada, gained the Battle of Kingsale in 1602, and drove the Spaniards out of Ireland.
