Valentine card
White lace-paper front with central white paper panel decorated with hand-drawn border in pen and blue ink which is studded with tiny, embossed silver flowers at lower centre, upper centre, centre left and centre right. At the centre is a flower posy of hand-painted leaves and stems with cut-paper and yellow and purple hand-coloured flowers affixed. A motto is written in pen and ink below the posy to left and right: 'Heartsease be thine / Sweet Valentine'. The interior of the card is blank. Heartsease is a common name for the wild pansy.
