Description

Embossed 'lace' front-paper with central silk panel with hand-painted leaves and applied pink fabric flowers to the four corners. An internal 'frame' of embossed 'lace' paper contains a collage of fabric flowers and leaves with hand-painted details and a cupid sitting on a silk cloud. A verse either handwritten or printed as handwritten in red ink on a cut-paper 'book' affixed at lower centre: 'through life / unchanging / I shall prove / true to thee / in constant / love / through / life unchanging / may you be / as constant / in your / love to me.'
