Loose within album P.14347-R. A hand-coloured lithograph on 4to-sized wove paper, a drawing-room scene below enclosed within a stylised border. A lady sits on a sofa, an open valentine beside her. She holds a rose in her left hand and looks towards a man leaning against the sofa on the right. A small Cupid prepares to fire his bow from a pedestal on the left. A stylised border part encloses a printed verse above: "While the notes of love are sounding, / Cupid aims his tiny dart…". Printed at lower centre: Pub by A. PARK London. A hand written inscription in black ink at upper right: "No 22 - 6d [sixpence]". Another inscription in graphite in a different hand at upper right: "Sentimental". The inside pages are blank. From a series. P.14347-R-L2 is another number from the same series.
