Clear lead-glass, the wide bowl diamond-moulded and supported on a baluster stem with an annulated knop, a teared ball knop and a basal knop, rising from a circular foot with three steps and pontil mark underneath

History note: Howard Phillips, London, from whom purchased, June, 1986, by Sir Ivor Batchelor, CBE; Sir Ivor and Lady Batchelor, St Andrew's, Fife; Sir Ivor died on 24 April 2005; on loan since 2006 (Syndicate of 30 January)
