Description

Colourless lead-glass, blown, pattern-moulded, nipped diamond-waies, and trailed

Colourless lead-glass blown, pattern-moulded, pincered, and trailed. The cup stands on a circular foot with a rough pontil mark underneath. The body is thistle-shaped with two applied loop handles. The foot has indented rings. The lower part of the body is moulded with ribs, pincered into a repeating diamond pattern (nipt diamond-waies). The waist has three horizontally trailed threads pincered twice on each side and once under each handle to form a chain. The handles have a vertical ridge and a pincered kick at the bottom.
