Thrown earthenware coated on the outside with pinkish-beige glaze, and inside with alpine white glaze painted in yellow, white, grey and black. Circular with deep sloping sides and a deep outward sloping footing. The inside is decorated with a central grey circle surrounded by radiating wider yellow and grey concentric bands over which are painted circles of leaves outlined half in white and half in black. Just below the rim there is a narrow grey line.
